public class TabPaneDetacher
extends java.lang.Object

A simple Utility to make all Tabs of a TabPane detachable.

Usage

To get a TabPane in charge of control:
Hint: Only already added Tabs are going to be in charge of control!

Tabs can then be detached simply by dragging a tab title to the desired window position.

public TabPaneDetacher alwaysOnTop(boolean onTop)

Sets whether detached Tabs should be always on top.

Parameters:

onTop - The state to be set.

Returns:

The current TabPaneDetacher instance.

stylesheets

public TabPaneDetacher stylesheets(java.lang.String... stylesheet)

Sets the stylesheets that should be assigend to the new created Stage.

Parameters:

stylesheet - The stylesheets to be set.

Returns:

The current TabPaneDetacher instance.

makeTabsDetachable

public TabPaneDetacher makeTabsDetachable(javafx.scene.control.TabPane pane)

Makes all added Tabs of the given TabPane detachable.

Parameters:

pane - The TabPane to take over.

Returns:

The current TabPaneDetacher instance.

openTabInStage

public void openTabInStage(javafx.scene.control.Tab tab)

Opens the content of the given Tab in a separate Stage. While the content is removed from the Tab it is added to the root of a new Stage. The Window title is set to the name of the Tab;

Parameters:

tab - The Tab to get the content from.

getCreatedStages

public javafx.collections.ObservableList<javafx.stage.Stage> getCreatedStages()
