The hash value of this tree tuple, or zero. If the hash value happens to equal zero it will have to be recomputed each time it is requested. Note that the hash function for tuples was chosen in such a way that the hash value of the concatenation of subtuples is easily computable from the hashes of the subtuples and their lengths.
