This is part of the strawman implementation for Fedora transactions This service implements a simple Transaction service which is able to create/commit/rollback Transaction objects A Scheduled annotation is used for removing timed out Transactions

Every REAP_INTERVAL milliseconds, check for expired transactions. If the tx is expired, roll it back and remove it from the registry.

beginTransaction

Create a new Transaction and add it to the currently open ones

Parameters:

sess - The session to use for this Transaction

Returns:

the Transaction

Throws:

javax.jcr.RepositoryException

getTransaction

                           throws TransactionMissingException

Retrieve an open Transaction

Parameters:

txid - the Id of the Transaction

Returns:

the Transaction

TransactionMissingException

Get the current Transaction for a session

Roll a Transaction back

Parameters:

txid - the id of the Transaction

Returns:

the Transaction object

javax.jcr.RepositoryException - if the Transaction could not be found
