public interface DiffRepository

Diff repository is responsible for persisting diffs calculated by javers core.

It deals with Diff aggregate and Change unwrap object.

Method Detail

save

void save(Diff newDiff)

Persists given diff in database.
Implementation should:

1. generate next Diff.id and assign it by calling Diff.assignId(long)
2. save Diff and all its Changes into database, since Diffs are logically immutable, implementation should use only inserts

Parameters:

newDiff - fresh Diff which hasn't been persisted yet

getById

Diff getById(long diffId)

Loads Diff from database, collection of Diff.getChanges() have to be initialized.

Returns:

null if not found

findByGlobalCdoId

List<Change> findByGlobalCdoId(GlobalCdoId globalCdoId)

Finds all changes made on single domain object. Outcome list has to be ordered chronologically by Diff.getDiffDate().

All Diffs referenced through Change#getParent() have to be fully initialized.

Parameters:
