Template for the user authentication service.

Method Detail

login

T login(java.lang.String principal,
        java.lang.String credentials)

Authenticate user with given principal and credentials and returns the token.

validateToken

T validateToken(java.lang.String token)

Validates the token. Returns auth token when token is valid, otherwise returns null.

rotateToken

T rotateToken(T authToken)

Rotates the token. It is allowed to return input instance if token is not changed.

tokenValue

java.lang.String tokenValue(T authToken)

Returns token String value.
