Returns:

the annotation instance or null if not found

tagAnnotation

public static <T extends Annotation> T tagAnnotation(Annotation annotation,

Returns the Annotation tagged on another annotation instance.

Type Parameters:

T - the generic type of the expected annotation

Parameters:

annotation - the annotation instance

tagClass - the expected annotation class

Returns:

the annotation tagged on annotation of type tagClass

createAnnotation

Create an annotation instance from annotation class.

hashCode

Parameters:

a - the Annotation for a hash code calculation is desired, not null

Returns:

the calculated hash code

Throws:

RuntimeException - if an Exception is encountered during annotation member access

IllegalStateException - if an annotation method invocation returns null
